Aim for around 6 AM to 8 AM when the light is just right and the waters are serene. However, there’s no guarantee that the sardine bait ball will stay in Moalboal forever.

According to locals, there used to be a bait ball at Pescador Island, but it mysteriously moved to Moalboal. Nobody knows why the sardines relocated, so it’s best to seize the opportunity while it lasts.
